Isolating x^2 in x^2 + (y – 2)^2 = 30, you gel

x^2 + (y – 2)^2 – (y – 2)^2 = 30 – (y – 2)^2

x^2 = 30 – (y – 2)^2    <———    this is the answer.

I hope this helps. =)
